On October 15, 2016 Asian Pacific Islanders for Professional and Community Advancement, Southern California hosted the 2016 APCA National Awards Banquet in beautiful Anaheim, California. More than 160 APCA members from several chapters across the country were in attendance for this fun-filled event. Click here to view the Banquet Video.
This year’s theme was built on the Power of &: Professional & Community Advancement – Building Bridges & Embracing the Future. Andy Lee, APCA SoCal President, kicked off the banquet with a warm welcome alongside Matt Mui, APCA National President. Lee Ann Kim, kept the audience entertained as the event emcee, and the Glory of Paradise showcased Polynesian dancing with the help of some volunteers from the audience.
As Keynote Speaker, Brad Bentley, Executive Vice President of Marketing – AT&T Entertainment Group shared his career journey and insights into company initiatives.
In addition to awarding two scholarship winners, APCA also recognized the following for their outstanding achievements:
