Lunar New Year is celebrated around the world, primarily in East Asia, and it is also one of the most important cultural celebrations in Asian communities, such as Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese.  It’s a time for family and friends to come together and celebrate the start of a new year with food, drinks, and good company.

Every year, InspirASIAN DFW gathers to celebrate the New Year over a fun family meal, most recently at Jeng Chi in Richardson on February 4, 2023. This was our first year back celebrating together in person since Covid hit in 2019 and we had a full house! Thanks to all who celebrate with us year over year, it was one for the books! Special thanks to our VIP guests for their continued support: Michelle Jordan, Jeff Tzeng, Corey Anthony, Lenny Rhee, Tomohiro Fujimaki, Quan Nguyen, and Amy Wheelus.

The year 2023 is the year of the rabbit in most parts of the world, but it is also the year of the cat in Vietnam.  “Xinnian Kuaile”, “Gong hei fat choy”, “saehae bok mani badeuseyo”, “Chúc mừng Năm Mới”.  We wish you and your family a wonderful year of health and prosperity and can’t wait to see you at our next event!
