Please join us in congratulating all of our students who received the InspirASIAN Scholarships this year!  Washington Chapter is proud to share that 11 students from our state received national and state scholarships totaling $12,000!

We normally celebrate and recognize our local students during May Asian Pacific Islander Heritage month with a dinner reception.  Due to COVID-19 this year we were not able to continue this tradition.  Instead of not doing anything due to the pandemic lockdown like what we’ve seen with many life events that did not happen for students this year, we forged ahead to recognize our local students though an intimate virtual reception.  Our scholarship program is about Igniting Possibilities and we wanted to let the next generation of leaders know that we see them, hear them and support them in this unprecedented time period.  The virtual reception gave our Washington Board a chance to speak with our local students to learn more about them and to highlight their amazing accomplishments!  View our video highlights clip here.

Thank You Volunteers!

The InspirASIAN Scholarship Program is a 100% volunteer supported program.  One hundred twenty three volunteers stepped up to make a difference through their participation in the program nationwide.  In particular, we would like to thank our 16 volunteers from Washington!

THANK YOU  Bob Bass, TK Chang, Kimberly Darrin, Mieko Doi, Brandon Duong, Linda Ishii, Greg Jones, Daniel Kim, Suzanne Maxon, Cheryl McMillen, Jack Quan, Jun Shen, Wael Shibly, Kelly Springer, Carol Tagayun, Yi Yang
