This year’s National Award Banquet was hosted in Seattle, WA for the first time in InspirASIAN’s history to celebrate the non-profit’s 40th anniversary. Guests were presented with a wonderful Pacific Northwest experience with a dinner event on the historic Skansonia ferry stationed on Lake Union. Guests were treated with a breathtaking Seattle Skyline as the backdrop, professional entertainment with taiko and flamenco performances, and an inspiring keynote speech by AT&T’s President of Internet of Thing, Chris Penrose, focused on the banquet’s theme of “Igniting Possibilities – DARE TO BE“. Washington Chapter planned and executed the banquet beautifully exceeding many of its goals that include a sold-out event and surpassing fundraising targets. Thank you Lai Lau and Brandon Duong for co-chairing this year’s national awards banquet and to the amazing leadership team from Washington Chapter for their exemplary execution and creativity!
Abhi Ingle (AT&T Senior Vice President) was presented with the Corporate Leadership Award. Jackson Ku was honored with the Outstanding Member Award. The Japanese American Citizens League – Seattle Chapter was recognized with the Community Leadership Award. This year’s InspirASIAN Large Chapter of the Year Award goes to Northern California Chapter. Washington Chapter was recognized with the InspirASIAN Small Chapter of the Year Award. The DARE TO BE – Impact Award was presented to Washington Chapter, New Jersey Chapter and Southern California Chapter. Please join us in congratulating all of our evening’s honorees
